It is still a useful information in a process to find out the type of cancer.  The biology, prognosis, treatment etc will be different in small cell carcinoma vs  large cell ca.

my mra brain (no contrast) said everything was fine. my doctor said no aneurysms but the report says no medium or large aneurysms why does the report say no small ones too? could i have a small one and they just didnt mention it on the report?

: An "MRA without contrast" may "miss" detection of smaller size aneurysms , but the risk of adverse consequences from small aneurysms if present, is significantly less.  Ask the physician who ordered the MRA if a repeat with contrast is necessary.
