Hard to tell: If this involves only one side and follows a dermatome pattern (google dermatone) , then this may be the beginning stage of shingles which will likely become painful later on. On the other hand, it is hard to tell what you may have given the scanty amount of information and vague description.

Dermatitis: Sounds like you have a dermatitis (not otherwise specified) and an exam would define it more specifically.  Most dermatitis like, itchy skin eruptions can be treated with a topical steroid and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) as an antihistamine (which can also help with the itch).  If severe, then get derm eval.  Best wishes.

i have some colourless itchy bumps on my skin. primarily on my wrists, feet, ankles, tops of the arm and shoulder. it's itching like crazy?

See doctor: It is hard to tell what may be causing it without a direct exam.  Nonetheless you may try taking antihistamines to see if they help.  A dermatology consult may be required if antihistamine does not help or the problem is getting worse. Any new drug or supplement introduced within the month prior to the onset of the rash may be a suspect also.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You may try an over the counter anti-histaminic. If that does not help or your symptoms worsen, especially if you develop breathing difficulty, see a doctor or go to ER.

Poison ivy?: Sounds typical for poison ivy.  Topical otc hydrocorticone would be helpful, but be sure to wash any clothes, bedding etc that may have come into contact.  Difficult to know for sure without examining the rash and knowing more about your history.  Good luck!

History including age of the patient and previous medical problems as well as other findings including throat, tongue and fingernails are important to determine the cause. Make sure to keep this person isolated until a diagnosis is made so that it cannot spread to others.

You may be allergic to something that your skin is coming in contact with like a soap or lotion - could also be clothing. Try to find out what is causing the reaction, eliminate it, and see if it gets better. Steroid cream may help.
