See a G.I. doctor.: if there are areas of the small intestine which appear abnormal, do you work up needs to be performed to determine why that is. A gastroenterologist would be the appropriate doctor to perform this. Good luck.

why did my doctor make me get a small bowel mri with contrast?

MR enteroclysis: is a highly specialized exam for detailed examination of the inside surface of the small bowel. The radiologist gets a very good look at the intestine to see if there are polyps, masses, strictures or inflammatory wall thickening. The reason for your exam depends upon your symptoms. You should feel comfortable asking your doctor the reason for your exam.

chronic (2 yrs) lower left abdominal tenderness between bottom of belly button and hip bone. hurts to press & tense. calprotectin consistently over 2000 but no diarrhea. clear colonoscopy & small bowel mri last month. clear ultrasound. any ideas pls?

: That high level of fecal calprotectin is certainly consistent with inflammation somewhere within the gi tract. If your colonoscopy &amp; other testing weren't done

while the calprotectin was elevated there may have been little or no inflammatory areas or flares of inflammation present at those times. Perhaps a consultation at a department of gastroenterology at a university hospital near you is worth

i had mri enterography. radiologist wrote negative small bowel but didnt comment other organs. werent other organs visualised? could it be skipped?

MRI enerography. : The MRI will include additional organs but not necessarily a complete view of all. In addition the radiologist may not comment on them if he does not see an abnormality. 
As a rule they should look to all available information in the scanned images and comment on everything visible. They can add a phrase such as “suboptimal liver visualization, recommend....something / or nothing.

please help, blood in stool (colonoscopy normal, ) mri shows narrowing of small bowel don, t know what this signifys?

Crohn's disease (IBD: Crohn's disease atype of ibd  (inflammatory bowel disease) is one of the causes for blood in stool. Normal colonoscopy suggests  that colon is not involved.
Mri is useful to avoid radiation and detect complications such as fistula, abscess, or sinuses.

Depends: If the liver resection was for metastatic  cancer then I would wait to see if there is a recurrence before repair

Yes: Small bowel lymphoma is picked up by symptoms such as nausea, vomitting, pain, obstruction, bleeding, etc. Depending on the specific type and stage of lymphoma 'cures' can definitely be achieved with modern chemotherapy regimens.
