Unlikely: Pimples come from lack of sleep, hormones, stress, and sun.  If you had a yeast infection you were probably physiologically stressed to get the infection to begin with.

Yes: Multimicrobial infections are common. Once the integrity of the skin is diminished, then other organisms can more easily infect the area.

Should be OK: As a barrier moisturizer, Calmoseptine is meant for outside use only for the irritant skin. You can use it around genital area, avoiding its entry inside the genital tract.

For sure not herpes: No doctor is likely to mix up herpes with the kind of rash caused by jock itch (or its equivalent in women). And herpes outbreaks never last 2 months -- each outbreak always clears up entirely within a couple weeks. There is no chance this is herpes.

Different treatment: This suggests either that the diagnosis is wrong (not yeast) or that this particular yeast is resistant to the "azole" drugs, including fluconazole and miconazole (Monistat). Skin fungal infections often are not yeast but other kinds of fungi. An alternate treatment may be necessary, but first see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis.

Fluconazole: Yes. Fine to take together and should not cause a problem. Keep your yogurt high in probiotics and make sure it is an active culture yogurt.

Yeast infection : Should begin working within a day or two.  If you haven't had any change in your symptoms by day 3, or if they begin to worse whole on the prescription, give your healthcare provider a call.  It could be that it's not a yeast infection, or there might be another process going on as well, requiring a different treatment
