Skin tag: It could just be a benign skin tag, but other skin lesions like warts cannot be excluded without actually looking at it. Make an appointment with your doctor. Take care!

Skin tag: This is a harmless skin lesion.  Speak with your doctor. They can be frozen with liquid nitrogen or surgically removed if its bothering you.

Not unusual: Not normal, but not unusual. Cosmetic gynecology is a controversial field and many doctors doing it are not well qualified.  If it bothers you, have a consult with a plastic surgeon who has this skill and check out your doctor's credentials before the consult.

i have a skin tag/mole like thing on my labia major, and it is not on a stalk. do all skin tags grow on a stalk? hoping its not vulva cancer or cancer of any sort. thank you!

Skin tag/mole:  Skin tags can have different appearances. However, this lesion would likely need to be examined and more history obtained to be able to provide you with useful input about the diagnosis or possible treatment.

i have multiple growth in my vagina near my vulva the doc said all i can do is wait to see if they are hpv or skin tags how can you tell them apart?

had a vulva biopsy- instead of healing flat i have elevated skin tags that are painful ? what caused this- i was told i need a plastic surgeon

Keloid: It sounds like you may have developed a keloid. This is a particular type of healing that creates a bump or ridge over the scar. A plastic surgeon can use some medications to prevent that from reoccurring when they remove it.

i am just curious as to whether all that rubbing and tightness could cause like small skin flaps and/or skin tags in my labia area?

No: Skin tags are very common and are not necessarily located in areas that are associated with tight fitting or rubbing clothes.  Also, "skin flaps" in the labial area are not caused by this either.  I would suggest that if you have some new growths or changes in the labial area, that you should get them examined.

YES: Skin tags are very common and benign.  Other causes could be cysts, also benign.

: It could and you need to consult a plastic surgeon.  Just injection fat is unlikely to make a lasting change. Please note surgery for a benign issue like size of labia is not recommended.
