Tinnitus: The most common cause of tinnitus is hearing loss.  No medicines have been shown to help, but the severity can be lessened with masking the noise (background noise), using a hearing aid (if indicated) and trying biofeedback.  Tinnitus can also be from medicines, stress, rarely rumors or irregular blood flow in the head.  I have not seen nor heard of dehydration causing tinnitus.

It contributes: People with chronic/recurrent headaches have been shown to have fewer headaches if they maintain good hydration.  It's really hard to be over-hydrated.  Almost all of us would benefit from more water.

so i've been recently experiencing a throbbing pain that follows my pulse in the back of my head. i've been hiking recently and i've noticed it for the first time. i have never gotten it before and i am very fit. should i be worried. dehydration?

Pulsatile HA HIKE: Could be altitude sickness. Need more info.  Keep diary and discuss with team.  ESP if you sweat, and it is the worst headache you have had and you heart speeds up &amp; skips beats. Read about Pheochromocytoma but VERY rare.

can dehydration cause sudden dry patches of skin on the legs and wrists. the patches are smooth and darker than the normal complexion and peels when scratched. it is not showing any signs of going back to normal?

It is unlikely that: you have "chronic dehydration" as you obviously are able to drink. There are however diseases that cause dry eye and dry skin that are autoimmune disorders. You need to be evaluated by a health care professional and have blood work obtained to determine the real cause of your symptoms.
