Irritation: There are a number of things that can irritate this sensitive area. Sensitivity to laundry detergents, toilet paper, or feminine products can cause this as well as yeast infection. Avoid products that have fragrance or color.

Sensitive skin: The most common conditions which fit your symptoms include eczema or a yeast infection such as candidal intertrigo. It is recommended that you use unscented soaps and laundry detergents only to minimize skin irritation. If the condition persists, seeing a physician for prescriptions for a low potency topical steroid and/or an anti-yeast medication may help.

See your doctor: If you are sexually active, this could be irritation from the positioning during sex. If not, it could also be from clothing being worn, especially if tight, or staying in a wet bathing suit or exercise clothing soaked with sweat. Dermatitis: You may have a variant of chronic perianal dermatitis that is mostly an irritated area due to contact with irritants, sweating, friction, excessive heat and moisture(similar to diaper rash). Under wear and clothing may be factors. The lump that bleeds may be a hemorrhoid. I recommend that you see a proctologist who can diagnose and treat you best.

Localized infection?: You might have a localized infection like an abscess (infected cyst). Apply some warm compresses to it and go see your doctor right away. If there's an abscess you would need incision and drainage and oral antibiotics usually won't work.

Yeast?: This sounds most like a yeast infection.  A yeast infection takes longer to treat when it involves a rash on the vulva.  There are several other possibilities, including some that may require a biopsy.  You could try treating for yeast but if it doesn't get better you will need to see your Gyn.  Yeast treatment: Wash, then dry with hair-dryer and put on a yeast cream twice a day.  May take 10 days

Possible: Allergic reactions of all types can cause itching and peeling skin.  You would havenoticed the bites first prior to the peeling skin.  Also you should check your bed for bed bugs if you are suspicious.

Let it peel : On its own time.  Do not try to peel it off too soon.  Peeling often happens as a result of a 1st degree burn, like a sunburn.   If during  burn recovery, damaged skin is peeled too soon, the dermal layer below may be damaged as well.  Generally speaking, the skin should peel on its own under nothing more than the pressure of a normal shower.  Gentle soap and water applicaiton works best.

No: Newborns, especially those born after their due date tend to have peeling skin within the first two weeks of life. This is a normal process and is not cause for alarm, nor does it require treatment or skin moisturizer. The peeling will soon give way to baby soft skin. Once you start bathing your baby, you can follow her bath with small amount of fragrance free lotion if needed.
