Depends on cause...: One's primary care doctor can check for medical causes. If none are found, then one can see a dermatologist, especially one specializing in hair restoration (some treatments: minoxidil, etc, ...). Medical causes may include: hormonal problems (low thyroid), seborrhea, alopecia areata, stressful illness. Other causes: genetic male/female pattern baldness, telogen effluvium.

MOISTURIZE: Ask your Pharmacist to recommend an effective MOISTURIZING cream/lotion..
Your skin needs moisture very badly since sunburns like any other burns produce DEAD SKIN (this looks like blisters!  DO NOT BREAK the blisters by scratching that will produce infection!

Determine the cause: Could be athletes foot, could be dry skin etc. Athletes foot often has a pattern, if you look closely there may be scaling or peeling but with small circles where the center is missing. If you have athletes foot and are not improving after 2 weeks of an antifungal cream, it may not be fungus and you should consider another diagnosis or have fungus ruled out. (a doctor can test samples of the skin.

Topical Antifungal: Most athlete's foot responds well to topical antifungals, many of which are available over the counter. It is important to apply twice daily to clean, dry skin. Ask your pharmacist to direct to the location of the topical antifungals they carry.

Pressure: Corns/calluses are your skin's way of protecting itself from where increased pressure occurs on your foot.  Friction and shearing forces from the way you are walking whether you are in shoes or not can be irritating that hard skin and causing them to peel.
