You may: need to see a healthcare provider if that patch continues to itch, get bigger, redder, angrier looking or drains.  You can easily get infection of the skin (cellulitis) and underlying tissues from a simple abrasion on the skin.  Or you could have had an insect bite that got infected. It feels cold as well.  Body numbness is unusual and could be due to tension.
