i developed a severe skin infection on my face after a filler injection.  i have cellulitis, nodules and blisters with discharge.  a swab tested positive for pantoea bacteria.  what kind of specialist should i see?  will this ever end?

: I would see infectious disease and dermatology and of course the injector and report results to state board in case lots of others are having same problem.

Non pitting edema: Many things can cause swelling of the extremities; trauma, infections, problems with veins, problems with the lymphatics system, heart issues, kidney disease to name a few.  I would recommend evaluation by your physician.  Elevation and compression stockings may be helpful to treat the swollen areas.

i am just curious if skin rash and cellulitis are the same infection?

First of all...: ..."skin rash" is redundant; you can't get a rash on your heart or kidney or hair -- only on your skin. Cellulitis is one type of infection of the skin, causing a rash and pain/tenderness. There are hundreds of other kinds of rashes, very few of which are infections.

had cellulitis over a week ago was treated but skin is still tender on leg. all else good. is the infection gone? i can't risk getting ill again

Need to examine: There is insufficient information to provide a meaningful opinion. It would be prudent to consult your doctor who knows your history and could examine you. Two general issues; if you are overweight, try hard to lose weight; if you are diabetic, keep tight control of blood sugar.

just finished keflex for cellulitis infection and responded well. skin no longer hot or red but still a little swollen.  been 11 days, should i worry?

No: Normal for it to still have some edema.  You can use some light compression hose over the counter-- should help.

had cellulitis on shin. it's been treated and all redness pain swelling is gone except for a lump where infection was. been this way for 2 months and no sign of shrinkage. what is in this lump? not painful. normal skin but for this lump?

: Likely this is scar tissue, however for a definitive answer one would need to see the "lump" and possibly biopsy it. It could also be a dermatofibroma.

Yes: Herpes itself is usually a skin infection. There are many bacteria that can cause skin infection as there are viruses. Fungal infections are also skin infection. It is not always clear to a doc the specific type of organism causing infection. Herpes will often look different when infecting different body parts: fingers, mouth, genitals (different male vs female).

Pus: Clogged hair follicles with acne like pus pimples would be sign of skin infection. Stop and discard makeup and see doctor fortress, ENT with topical or oral antibiotics.
