Medications: Are u on any meds they can change taste - smoker, alcohol, and allergies can also cause this. If u have sinus infection it might be contributing.

What are you taking?: All different medications have different side effects. I would have to know what medications you were on to check there side effects. The medication should have a list of possible side effects. If they do not you can call the doctor that prescribed them to you and they can tell you.

Licking lips swellin: Licking dry lips constantly  causes bruising your lower lip. Other causes: allergic reaction to foods, makeup etc. herpes sores of lips causes swelling with pain.  Skin disease can cause lip swelling (chielitis)  sun burn, changes in temperature &amp; Vitamin B deficiency Apply cold compress,/ apply thick paste of baking soda/ aloe Vera/ Vit E oil / use antibiotic ointment if infected.  Avoid lip balm

Use hydrating cream: Cold weather tend to dry up the skin. Hydrating lotions, oil or body butter will help right after shower when body is still damp

aquaphor: Aquaphpr, vaseline, cerave sa lotion or u-lactin creme, for the feet are good. For the lips only use vaseline  or aquaphor. Also limit the use of soap.

These may be lupus: These symptoms may be part of your lupus and depending on the causes the treatment for lupus are  directed  to treat these also. Just  because  you have lupus does not mean these are all due to one thing. Your  evaluation will help clarify.

Skin tone: Medical conditions that cause skin color change are rare, so probably nothing is wrong; it's quite normal for skin tone to evolve and perhaps darken with maturity, in which case it's still your "real skin". However, it would be reasonable to see a doctor to be sure you have no underlying health problem. One uncommon possibility is adrenal gland insufficiency (Addison's disease). Good luck.

Maybe from UV light: The uv light rays in sunshine cause damage to skin. Lips don't have a thick skin covering, so may be more vulnerable to the sun. A dermatologist can evaluate and make some recommendations for lip care from this time onward. Also, one should be sure he or she is not having a reaction to any of the ingredients in lipsticks or lip balms.

Usually Allergy: Usually itching and burning sensations of skin structures are indications of some sort of sensitivity reaction, sort of like a mild allergic reaction. Can you notice any pattern to the occurence of these outbreaks? Any food/drink bring them on? Is your mouth unusually dry-xerostomia-possibly from medication ur taking? 1st try vaseline every hr or so to see if helps. A dentist can prescribe kenalog (triamcinolone).
