No unless..........: If you have an infected wisdom tooth, it can spread to your sinuses.  However, if you do have a sinus infection, i would look elsewhere first as to the cause.  See your physician for treatment. See your dentist as well for an evaluation.

Yes: Molar tooth roots can extend into the maxillary (cheek) sinuses.  During a difficult extraction of molar teeth, the bone and mucosal lining around the tooth and sinus floor can get disrupted creating an opening between the mouth and sinus cavity.  This opening or fistula, by introducing oral cavity bacteria into the sinus, can lead to sinus disease.

: You have been overdoing it, so back off.  You need to brush and floss well at least once in a 24 hr period preferably before retiring at night. Doi not brush immediately after meals it will harm your teeth. See your Dentisti: Since it is month ,the socket must have healed and closed if not the area is prone to any infection . See your Dentist who extracted the tooth for healing

Slight: Not impossible, but not common. You may have trapped a foreign body in the socket (stitch, food debris,etc) and it is just now becoming a problem. More commonly, patients see a small often sharp piece coming through the tissue. This is a small fragment of loose bone, working its way out. No problem, no infection. It can be removed or come out on its own. See your DDS if needed. Good Luck.

No wait.: Follow dentist's 
written instructions after extraction. Avoid strenuous activity to include heavy lifting. Just plan to take it easy. Avoid activities that create suction (smoking or sucking from a straw). Don't swish vigorously. Avoid alcohol ; hot beverages. A soft or liquid diet would be good. Your dentist/ oral surgeon likely provided you w gauze to apply pressure with if you start bleeding.

See your dentist: You should go back to the dentist who did the extractions to have it evaluated. It could be a simple matter of a piece of food getting caught in the extraction site or something more involved. In the meantime rinse with warm salt water and make an appointment.

No.: Different "bugs" are involved with utis and those that typically cause dental infections.

See your dentist: If you are still having problems with your sinuses it would be wise to see your provider.  They will most likely place you on antibiotics to prevent any infection that is causing you discomfort.  Best of luck!
