Curious: I'm wondering if you are a belly sleeper, meaning do you lie with your face planted in the pillow or mattress?
Sometimes with external pressure applied to your eye(s), the vision can be temporarily discolored in the AM.  Other possible cause of "yellow" vision are use of the heart medicine digoxin or foxglove poisoning.

See your doc: Fainting isn't normal.  You should be checked out to see what is going on.

male 30s no medication. tired, i went to bed early and woke up around 3am to notice that my vision had a yellow tint. everything white seemed yellow tinted. after a couple of minutes it went away and never reoccurred. should i be concerned?

: Usually, it is a good idea, when new medical Signs and Symptoms occur unexpectedly, to see One's PCP/GP to check it out and have an action plan should that be necessary. The Visual change could be something as remediable as Dehydration in the Hot Weather without drinking enough water before sleeping. Or it could be early sign of more complex issues, hence a PCP/GP visit indicated.

: This is part of the symptom complex seen when a person faints. By itself, I don't find the description worrisome.

A faint: Fainting  is a non specific symptom where you suddenly pool blood in your lower body &amp; this drains it away from your brain/upper body. The quick shift blocks vision &amp; many will actually fall. It is seen in a variety of conditions. If this happens often I would seek a medical evaluation.

Need to find a way: Hi Mickaela, I'm really concerned by your description of your vision loss. You need to find a way to see a doctor. Insurance should cover a significant portion of you visit with the doctor. Call the doctors office and see how they can help you afford a visit. Look at your expenses and see what you can do without temporarily - eating out, cell phone, etc. I'm glad you're reaching out.
