Few issues: You have a few things going on here. The right sided pain. Since it has been going on and not eased you should see doctor for exam. The urine. If still dark yellow you are not drinking enough water. Now if you have any other symptoms go see doctor for urine test

my father fell while drinking and now has an open wound, about an inch open. it is not bleeding that much, but it looks like it need stitches. what should we do?

Well,: If you think he does need stitches you better take him to and emergency room asap as the window for primary suture is rapidly closing. If it is on the lower leg after stitching  have some compression stocking on the leg to offset possible swelling that will delay healing. Make sure to be given a tetanus shot too!

i removed my wisdom tooth on the 11th, removing the stitches on 18th and am thinking of drinking alcohol on the 15th. is it safe?

Post-op instructions: It's always best to ask the dentist who is treating you and responsible for your aftercare. You should have been give  oral and\or written instructions. We don't know your age, medical history, medications taken, general health nor difficulty of surgical procedure.

24 to 48 hours: The idea for not spitting and not drinking from a straw is basically for the first 24  to 48 hours after the extraction. At that point the blood cloth is formed and it's not a crucial factor anymore.

Depends: Once the clot has formed, moderate alcohol intake should not be a problem unless doctor told you otherwise.

Likely yes: Just ask your doctor. If you're not on medication and if the gingiva has healed, then alcohol should not affect the extraction sites.

i got my 2 bottom wisdom teeth removed on march 18, (thursday) , when can i drink from a straw again? can i eat normal after 7 days? (meaning boneless wings fries, all that good stuff) (i got dissolvable stitches))))?

: Since you had two teeth removed wait at least 7-10 days because have two holes that have to heal. Rinse the area after you eat and make sure the holes have closed up so food won't get in them. Even after the stiches have dissolved make sure area is closed before eating anything that can enter extraction site.

Post extraction: Actually it is best to drink lots of fluids = warm, not boiling hot. Soups are good. More liquids, more the healling.
