Two ingredients: The medication you described contains 2 different ingredients.One ingredient is sold as Ponstel (mefenamic acid) which is available in the us by prescription only. The other ingredient would not be appropriate to use for menstrual cramps.

Diagnosis needed: The cause of your persistent and apparently severe abdominal pain needs to be determined. There is not enough description of your symptoms in order for us to make a differential diagnosis and advise you. I recommend going back to the hospital emergency room now for more examination and testing.

: Severe menstrual cramping with menstruation may be caused by endometriosis, which are caused by endometrial cells in the abdominal cavity, which bleed with menstruation, causing pain.  Consult your GYN physician about endometriosis, and ask about low dose oral contraceptives, which will reduce the cramping and protect fertility.

i was on prisitq (50mg) for 5 years and in the last month i have slowly stopped taking them. i am up to 2 weeks with no tablet and i am having major anxiety. would i i get side effects from not taking them for two weeks if i were to start them again?

That said, many people with depression and/or anxiety wean down on meds during the good times and go back up during the bad times. Usually, patients do not completely go off meds, but those with very mild, occasional symptoms can go off meds in the good times.

Not many: First you need to make sure you have the vaginal yeast infection before taking this medicine, as other conditions and STD's mimicking  such symptoms require different treatment. If no improvement is seen withing a few days or other symptoms like bleeding occurs you should consult your doctor.
