It's not necessarily: Unhealthy. Only concern is that it might be stimulating & interfere w falling asleep. If it doesn't shouldn't be a problem. As an aside, our internal body clock tends to lower body temp in the evening in preparation for sleep, so theoretically, a cold shower could mirror this cycle. Cold is also a great anti-inflammatory agent for muscles sore from exercise.

Antipersirant: Is antiperspirant still effective if: I apply at 10PM, sleep until 7:30AM, shower for 25 minutes, and don't reapply? ANS: Not likely but take a smell of your armpit or have someone else do the same at the end of the day and let us know.

Dry skin: I don't know about the sleeping. When you take a shower, the water & the products that you use on your skin can be drying. When skin is very dry it can become itchy or uncomfortable. Encourage you to consider using an unscented soap containing moisturizer. We use caress at our home. You can apply moisturizing lotion to your skin.  Also hydrate well - at least 8  - 8 ounce glasses of water per day.

i was in the sun all day today on an island at 90 degrees. i felt weird after so i drank lots of water and took cold shower. should i be fine to sleep?

I don't see why not.: If you're feeling better and staying hydrated you should be fine. Remember to wear sunblock and take breaks from the sun every couple hours. Enjoy the island!

wife insists that i must not sleep with my hair damp after shower. will have migraines when i am old. any credibility to this?

NO!: While it is better to dry your hair before sleep,there is no connection between this and onset of migraine later!!

Under arms: Underarm odor is caused by certain glands in the arm pits.  It's natural to have a certain amount of odor and sweat in this area.  Excessive odor may be caused by medications or over the counter supplements.  Infection may also cause increased odor and pain.

No rules: There are no real recommendations regarding when to shower. If you find a shower helps you relax then before bed is fine. If you exercise then after training might be advisable to remove sweat. Find the pattern, time that feels right for you!
