i have shoulder blade pain that comes and goes. it's been getting worse and feels like its spread to my chest. how can i know if its knots or a tumor?

May need to visit yr: Any pain which is persisting and getting worse for more than 3-4 weeks requires examination by your doctor.Further testing with chest x-ray or a ct scan may be required to assess for any tumor underlying as the cause of this pain uless the pain goes away in 3-4 weeks.

i have intense left shoulder blade pain that comes and goes, had it a couple of days now, no injury or heavy lifting, i am right handed.
no other symptoms. i do have osteoarthritis in both shoulders, but no pain. no fever, lung mild change in copd???

Need to examine: In atypical circumstances heart disease may cause pain in the shoulder or jaw. It would be prudent to consult your doctor by phone to ascertain if you need further evaluation. If you do not have access to your doctor, go to the emergency room of a hospital.

how long does it take for a pulled muscle in the shoulder to heal. excruciating pain that comes and goes and spreads to my neck and ear. dr says swoll?

Muscle strain: Depends on the extent of the tear, and how much continued use the muscle is doing. For example, if you're still doing any moderate to heavy lifting, it's going to take longer to heal. If it's not better in a week, I would seek medical attention.

i had 2 abnormal ekg tests. left side chest, neck, shoulder pain comes and goes. lightly tingling left hand. heart beats hard often. what is this?

Abnormal EKG: In a 21 year-old female should be looked at well. At your age, your risks for heart attack are low unless you have dm, chronic diseases like lupus, familial dyslipidemia , chronic HTN which is unlikely at your age, and smoking heavily. It has to be something congenital or infectious or normal variant. Talk to your doctor for diagnosis and treatment if needed and have peace of mind.

a sudden sharp left shoulder pain. it's not muscular and feels deeper in. it comes and goes and breathing causes it to hurt. no issue on movement. ?

Get it checked out: If it is not movement related but does get worse with respiration then it is likely coming from your lung.  The causes can be pleuritis, pneumonia, a blood clot, etc, so best to have it looked at.

back/shoulder pain for over 6months now, started feeling like a knott and over the last 3 weeks, painful when i breath, sleep and sit on the couch. the pain comes and goes but is quite like a stabbing/burning feeling. headaches and difficulty breath?

Just  a thought....: This sounds a lot like a SUBSAPULARIS strain/sprain!
These are small muscles that basically "attach" your "wingbone")scapular) to your chest and form an important part of your shoulder joint!!!!
Apply Heat..Rest that arm!!!!!\
and if still "in trouble" after 48 h contact your PCP

i have pain in my right side under the ribs bellow breast. i feel it in the back too all the way to shoulder. pain is mild, sharp and comes and goes.

Many possibilities: Many things can cause those symptoms--one of the possibilities is gallbladder disease.  Your doctor can help you figure out the cause and treatment for it.  Referral to a surgeon may be necessary.

have fissures and narrow canal.colonoscopy 2/4/16   now have 
dull pains in left side under rib cage and shoulder pain?  bad pain comes and goes

Pain under ribs: Hello ~ I note you had a colonoscopy on 2/4/16 and now have pain under rib cage and shoulder pain. A rare complication of colonoscopy is rupture of the colon and more so if there is inflammatory bowel disease. If you perforate the colon you would get air in abdomen and it will rise to under diaphragm giving you pain you are getting. Go back to GI doc and have this checked thx

warm redness on upper left arm. comes and goes, mainly at night. no bumps, just shoulder pain. have mono right now, but it's only this one spot?

Must be examined: mono can cause lymph node swelling. Definitely get examined and evaluated.
