: There are atypical signs of angina especially in women, including shoulder pian , pain with brushing teeth. Would follow up with MD and consider EKG and stress echocardiogram.

Many things: Left sided neck and shoulder pain could be from a cervical disk herniation or neck strain.  Many things can cause the other symptoms.  It would be best to see a medical specialist for a full exam.  Good luck.

It is possible: It's possible to have any disease, however the odds and statistics would have a lupus diagnosis lower on the differential scale with simple joint pains, unless there is a family history, but as stated, lupus can have accompanying joint pain, so there is always a chance of the disease.

Yes, : Yes, elevated monocytes can be elevated in some types of vasculitis.  Monocytes can also be elevated in chronic infections.  I am glad that you have had a negative bone marrow study.  High sedimentation rate can go along with inflammatory or infectious causes.  It sounds like your hematologist is performing a thorough workup.

Not Likely: The symptoms sound serious enough that you should get a thorough evaluation. The symptoms don't sound like a post surgical syndrome, but possibly you contracted a chronic slow growing infection while in hospital. Mycoplasma is one candidate, and resistant strains have been found increasingly in hospitals. Get checked out.

Ortho Surgeon: Chronic severe shoulder pain and fatigue is certainly not normal.  You need an appropriate workup by a good shoulder surgeon.  There are many good shoulder surgeons in your area.  My concern would be that you have a rotator cuff tear.

Shoulder: I can't think of a link between shoulder pain and tiredness. You should start with a visit to your PCP and may need a consult with an orthopedic surgeon. That does not mean you will need shoulder surgery - there are many ways to help that burning pain.

Eval: This is very little information to go on. Although sudden extreme fatigue and pain radiating down the left arm could occur with a cardiac issue - it doesn't sound like that is what you are describing. Evaluation would probaly be the only way to get a good handle on these symptoms.

Pain: for meningitis, you need to have stiff neck, fever, vomiting and have headaches. If your chin can touch your chest, this is not meningitis. You could be having muscle aches and stiffness
