Toxin intolerance?: Alcohol (ethanol) is toxic to living tissues (we humans are a complex glob of living tissues) so avoid alcohol if one's body is intolerant of it or of its metabolites. Symptoms may also be due to an allergy to other ingredients in an alcoholic drink. We get enough man-made toxins into our bodies nowadays that we don't need to drink additional voluntary toxins.

Hot liquids.: Many things are used commonly. Hot salt water gargles, hot tea with honey.  Otc preps like chloraseptic ( a numbing medication) or guaifanesin ( an expectorant) plus or minus dm ( a cough suppressant).

Hard to tell: The most likely answer is a viral infection especially if the cough goes away after a few weeks and is not getting worse.   However if persistent and worsening, you  will need to see your dcotr.

Food allergy : Sounds like you may have developed an allergy to something in the chocolate and the milk, as it is causing  an itchy throat, chin, and  scalp. There is lactose in the milk and milk chocolate, which may be your allergy.

Infection or fluid: What you are describing are common symptoms of an ear infection or fluid behind the eardrum (which is likely from infection).  This can be viral or bacterial, and your doctor will need to look in your ear to see if antibiotics are needed.  Typically many ear infections are from viruses and do not need antibiotics.

There : There are a few things you can do to treat a sore throat caused by an upper respiratory virus.  It sounds like you've tried a few of them, but here's my complete list: 
- voice rest
- drink plenty of fluids and stay hydrated 
- hot tea with honey and lemon 
- or just a spoon-full of honey - honey has been shown to be as effective a cough suppressant as many over the counter medications 
- inhale steam from a shower or cool mist from a vaporizer 
- Acetaminophen and/or Ibuprofen can help with inflammation and throat pain

a sore throat from a cold virus should improve after a few days. If it does not, of if you get worse or have any difficulty breathing, call your doctor.

Avoid coffee: Obviously you are reacting to something in the coffee.  You can change brands and see if that helps.  If the symptoms persist, then try tea or some other beveridge.

Need to be seen: By your doctor, you may very well  Rx meds for your upper airways inflammation causing such symptoms, as well you may be having reflux adding to the problem in your throat, and possibly causing your upset stomach. In the interim, use saline nasal washes, salt water gargles, and OTC antacid or PPI, but read the labels carefully, wish you well

i sneeze a lot lately, itchy eyes, runny nose. i have untreated sleep apnea (extremely big tonsils) and woke up today with my tonsils feeling swollen, back of throat feels itchy, nasal drip . no fever. neg covid. tea and gargling helps. what is it?

: You have two issues,  obstructive sleep apnea related to large tonsils and ongoing allergy/seasonal allergy.  Quite likely, you need to have your tonsils taken out to relieve obstructive apnea to avoid of developing pulmonary hypertension.  Your allergy issue can be curtailed by using daily fluticasone (Flonase) nasal spray along with daily long acting antihistamine, e.g., cetirizine (Zyrtec).

can my husband drink hibiscus tea if he is on warfarin. he take 5mg. daily. his inr has to be 2.0 to 3.0...thank you?

Not sure: I couldn't find anything specifically about HIBISCUS tea, but tea in general can both antagonize warfarin (lower the INR) and also promote bleeding by interfering with platelet function which won't show up in the INR. That said, I'll bet a lot of people on warfarin drink tea, so if he loves tea, I'd say use it cautiously and monitor the INR.
