These include nd:yag, co2, ysgg, erbium to name a few. The evaluation of it is worth it is an individual one. Does the laser treatment allow you to accomplish your goals for your skin compared to non-laser options?

Yes, see dermatologi: There are several types of topical Tx for seb derm. Would suggest that you see dermatologist for confirmation of dx and then tx with either cortisone or non cortisone creams and even shampoos. Most of these are prescriptions.

I wouldn't: Recommendations are made based on the exam &amp; shaped by the experiences of the physician. It is not unusual for 2 physicians practicing the same specialty to have a different program. It would be presumptuous to recommend anything without an exam. OTC products might help some folks but not others. Your choice.

Sun screen, steroid : You should have it evaluated if it is there for a long time. Short term redness is normal. After the skin is healed, it may be ok to use a small amount of Hydrocortisone cream to lessen the redness.

Smartlipo?: There are several "lasers" for fat removal these use anesthesia injected into the fatty area followed by a laser inserted into that layer using long thin tubes ( trochars) the laser liquefies the fat. The next step is using another trochar to suck this liquefied fat out. It is a surgical procedure so pick your Dr carefully
