PVC: How do you know you have PVCs if you haven't seen a doctor. Presumably you are feeling palpitations. You won't know what's going on without seeing a doctor.

Palpitations: Palpitations have many causes from anxiety through anatomic and physiologic abnormalities. The feeling of bounding usually relates to the volume of blood pumped with each palpitation. There is no simple single answer for the question. If you're bothered by the feeling should consult a dr. and ask if there is a reason for yours

Maybe other reason: Although you sound very knowledgeable and comfortable regarding your PVC history, i would have some concern about your other symptoms which may be from another medical condition. The increase in pvcs may be an indirect result of increased stress/strain/epinephrine from this condition.
 The dizziness and dyspnea should be evaluated further.

Not likely.: Very brief pains as you describe are not often associated with heart disease or with palpitations.  Palpitations in turn are not likely to be the presenting sign of serious heart disease. Heart disease is not common in 40 yo men especially those who can play tennis for an hour.

See a cardiologist : See a cardiology sub specialist in an academic center who may be more in tune with cardiac presentation in women and get you the correct treatment; or reassurance after appropriate testing done. If you reside in Northern Calif go to Stanford's women's heart center. If u love in Southern California go to Cedars Sinai women's heart center.
