However, how they work (volatalizing either a liquid form of drug like nicotine or even volatiilzing the nicotine out of tobacco or the THC/CBD out of marijuana) is the same technology in either an e-cig or another device.

Serious: It is a bad idea to use tobacco or any other inhaled intoxicant. Consider it a warning and abstain from repeating this self-destructive activity.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.
