i have sharp pain under left breast when breathing. what's wrong?

Probably: Slipped rib syndrome or costochondritis. Rarely it could be inflammation of lung lining, but if you're not otherwise febrile or ill, rib problem is more likely. See your doctor for an exam.

i wake up tired and go to bed tired. i sometimes have sharp pain under my left breast. i have trouble breathing. im only 25, 198lbs, and im 5`1. help?

Mental health: This is common in depression and/or anxiety.  In my practice we would first make sure your thyroid is working. But this is a common way that mental health problems manifest physically.

Rib Injury?: Tough to say, but with your history, you may have sustained a minor rib injury, such that a rib may have strained itself.  The only real way to know what happened is to get an evaluation if your symptoms persist and or return, best wishes.

See a doctor: Pain in the breast while breathing in is not a specifically recognized sign of anything, however anytime a patient describes something as "worse pain i ever felt" that means you need to see a doctor asap, possibly even go to the er.

See your doctor: Could be a problem with skin, nerves, muscle, shoulder, lung, heart, or stomach. See your doctor for a more thorough history, physical exam and further evaluation. If you sleep on your stomach you could have a neck strain that radiates pain to the chest or arm. Get checked out just to make sure.

If you can: reproduce the pain by pushing on the area it is most likely costochondritis which is inflammation of the rib and cartilage junction near the sternum.  It can be treated with anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen.

minor sharp pain under left breast , moved to side. still sharp and minor. about 2-3 hours after pain started i collapsed.  what could this be?

Get examined ASAP: Could just be vaso vagal reaction to pain . But heart and brain conditions have to be considered and excluded .Give us some feedback !
