Some of the causes incl. testicular torsion, epididymitis and orchitis (infections), testicular cancer and musculoskeletal pain.

It’s best that you get a second opinion from a urologist for comprehensive assessment and peace of mind.

Transient Torsion: It sounds like the mechanical stress on your scrotum may have caused what is known as torsion, which has to do with twisting of the cord-like bundle of structures that attach to the testicle. This can cause extreme pain, and if it does not quickly resolve, is a surgical emergency. If the pain resolved momentarily, it may have been transient. Be careful with your body and get help if it gets worse!

When to go back...: Physician's are trained to treat common problems first. If the treatment plan or assumptions made during the visit do not pan out then that is when one goes back to the doctor and less common problems are then considered. Ten months seems like a very long time to live with this symptom without getting help.
