Jabbing pains: Pinched nerves in the upper spine can cause sharp, jabbing pains in the back and radiation around the side of the chest and around the breast area. However an exam of the ribs, lungs and breast may be a good idea.

: Pain can be from a number of etiologies, including stress.  I can not imagine what your pain is due to without more information.  Perhaps a trusted MD can be seen.  Good luck!

i have this sharp pain above my left breast and my left breast itself.  should i go to the er? it started this morning went away, its back again.

Not ER issue: It makes sense to make a regular doctor's appointment for an exam but this is not a good reason for an ER. If it is still there as the week begins, call for an appointment and keep notes on the daily changes. Whatever it might be will almost certainly not become critical and if it does get much worse somehow or other symptoms emerge - the ER will still be there. Best!

Left sided pain: May be constipation or gas in the splenic flexure of the colon, may be from a kidney stone. Check U/A try maalox . i have also seen pain with mycoplasma/ ureoplasma infection in vagina without  any vaginal symptoms responds to zithromax. rarely reflux seems too low  or ovarian ( need sonogram) f/u w/ urgent  care

Neuralgia: Pain radiating from under the shoulder blade around to under the breast may be due to compression(pinch) of a thoracic nerve as it travels along the under side of the rib.  Sleeping in an awkward position is one cause. The pain can be severe.  It&#x27;s usually a temporary problem but can last for several weeks. If OTC NSAIDS don&#x27;t help gabapentin can be very effective.

Several causes: If each pain is lasting literally 1 or 2 seconds, it is not cardiac. If 30 sec. Or longer, or aggravated by exercise, consider heart. Compression of a thoracic nerve in your back is possible. If skin in painful area is hypersensitive, consider early shingles.

Pain neck, back: The type of radiating pain you describe is often from nerve impingement (pinching) in the neck spinal area or in the thoracic area.  See your doctor for diagnosis.  Physical therapy helps.  Avoid neck and back strain, heavy lifting most sports for now.

Go to the doctor: Pain in the left chest that radiates to the arm or shoulder may be a sign of a heart problem.  I can't make a diagnosis on the internet, but that is not a description i would mess around with.  Even if this isn't an acute symptom, you need to discuss this with your primary care physician.
