Sprain: A sprain of a muscle or ligament likely occured. This may take a week or more to heal. Rest and,if you can take them,NSAIDS like ibuprofen or Aleve (naproxen) may help to reduce any associated inflammation. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult an orthopedic surgeon for evaluation and treatment.

Referred pain: the pain at posterior superior iliac spine can be a referred pain from lumbar spine or pain comes from sacroiliac joint; pain comes from sacroiliac joint are typical related to the history of previous lumbar fusion or trauma;

Unsure: Could be several things.  If it is severe or persists more than several hours then you should be evaluated.  Sorry but the list of possible causes is long. May be serious: Gas is a common cause, but with fever, loss of appetite, and pain, you will need to see a doctor. Because appendicitis can start with these symptoms, keep in mind you may need to go the the er if symptoms get worse. Other causes are possible, too many to list here.

Severe pain: Severe pain can cause dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and fainting. Is a vasovagal reaction, like when you get an injection, blood draw, or a strong emotion.  That by itself is not worrisome. However, your severe hip pain gets my attention. Please, see doctor for exam and evaluation.
