Birth control: If you do not want to get pregnant, or an sti, you should use birth control as well as condoms.  If regular in your period, you ovulate mid cycle, always 14 days before your period.  So unprotected sex the days around ovulation would be the most fertile time of your cycle.  Best wishes.

Poor birth control: Only 100% safe sex is no sex. Your most fertile period is the week leading up to ovulation; sex outside this period is less likely to cause pregnancy, but it is nowhere close to 100%.  The rhythm method is far inferior to actual protection (either hormone (pill) or barrier (condom)).

Neither prevents you: From getting sexually transmitted diseases and there is no guarantee you won't become pregnant. Best to use protection every time you have sex.

How about July 3rd?: If you got pregnant on june 3rd, the baby fetus would be a lot older than 7 weeks gestation by august 8th.

Unlikely: Some  women ovulate on day 7 of their cycle, and if sperm can live 5 days, it is possible, but unlikely.  (day 1 of your cycle is the first day of your period).

No. Most fertile. : You are most likely to be ovulating between 10 and 14 days from the first day of your period. If you have a period lasting 4-5 days, then having sex 4 days after the end of your period puts you very close to ovulation. That's a high risk time. Unless you're planning on getting pregnant, don't risk it. If you've already, maybe the morning after pill would be a good idea.

May be yeast: It may be yeast, about 1 in 10 women will have frequent recurrences of yeast infection in the vagina.  Sex can precipitate the symptoms.  See your doctor when you are symptomatic.  It is easy to treat and if there is a different cause, your doctor will determine what is the correct treatment.

Plan b: Spotting or heavier bleeding like a period may occur after plan b.  However, since you took it 2 days after instead of 1 day after, the Plan B was less effective.  Consider checking a pregnancy test about 14 days or so after the unprotected sex even with the bleeding.

It depends.: This depends on if you really got your period or if it was just light discharge.  Now you did change your birth control and so it can definitely explain your change in period.  If you didn't have intercourse after that time you mentioned, and certainly not around the time of ovulation, you are highly unlikely to be pregnant but if you're still unsure, see your doctor for an exam and test there.

Not really, but....: Plan B can certainly cause irregular bleeding as it works on hormonal levels to prevent a pregnancy.  See if the light bleeding stops soon as over 2 weeks is not "normal" but can occur.  If it continues over 3 weeks, then call the GYN and get Eval.
