Call your doctor: Nausea medication (anti-emetics) are also available as suppositories or dissolvable oral tablets in case oral medication is not tolerated due to severe nausea.  If the alternative medications are not available or ineffective, a visit to a nearby hospital is advised.  Intravenous medication and rehydration will be required.

Vomiting: You should have your daughter examined first. If any new foods were introduced recently after which the vomiting started, stop those. Make sure not to delay the visit as it is important to prevent dehydration in small children.

Needs evaluation: Your symptoms could be all kinds of things, from irritable bowel syndrome to reflux to diabetes and more. Best thing to do is to go to your regular doctor and discuss all this with them. They can do a thorough check and at least rule out the bad stuff. Could be that even some simple treatments might could get you some relief...but it needs to be looked at more closely. Good luck.

my son is 4yrs old, 18kg and 110cm. since 3pm he has been throwing up, tried replacing electrolytes with hydrochoice. gave activated charcoal to help settle his stomach and can't keep anything down. hot and cold sweats. didn't eat anything funny?

Fluids: I would advise small amounts of clear liquids, offered frequently. Monitor his temperature and treat fever with Tylenol.
If he seems dehydrated- for example: less saliva, decreased urination, loss of weight, please see your physician right away.
For any abdominal pain, dehydration or distress, please see acute care right away.

Find symptom's cause: Nausea may be gi-related (food poisoning, peptic disease, gastroparesis, due to biliary &amp; pancreatic disease, gas/bloat syndrome, small bowel problems). Consider "central" causes: motion sickness, vertigo, migraine headache, brain problems (some very serious). Also, rule out infection (?Urinary tract), medication side effects, pregnancy, &amp; even reaction to stress. See doctor to find &amp; treat cause.

Depends: That depends on what is causing your vomiting.  Simple stomach viruses can cause vomiting and the feeling of nauseousness may persist for 24-48 hours.  If the vomiting is caused by other conditions, it may be something else entirely.  With persistent vomiting greater than 48 hours, dehydration becomes a risk in adults (much earlier for infants/elderly), and an exam is needed for DX and tx.

Many possibilities..: A simple tummy ache with symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, whether at home or traveling, may be from a virus infection, bacteria infection or contaminated food. A normal person, not pregnant, not on medications, usually recovers easily. Taking a Pedialyte popsicle or 2-3 oz of Pedialyte hourly for a day, and eating little else, may settle things down. If worried, doctor should evaluate.

Stomach ache /vomiti: If you were retching hard during or prior to vomiting you can have tear in  yoor esophagus, but your stomach muscles could get sore from the forceful contractions duirng vomiting and hurt/feel sore.
