Sensory processing -: Is a vague term, . Alcohol can alter your sensory functions as can many other substances like lsd, marijuana, and ecstacy, opioid pain medication and medications like xanax (alprazolam) and sleep meds.  So the answer is a big yes.

Definitely: Spd is a neurological disorder causing difficulties with taking in, processing & responding to sensory information about the environment & from within his own body(visual, auditory, tactile, olfaction, gustatory, vestibular &propioception). No.: Sensory integration/processing disorder does not make a child more prone to seizures. However, this should be discussed with your child's doctor. Is your child actually having seizures? If so, there could be a neurologic condition causing the seizures and causing other processing problems.
