Morphea: There is good medicine for this condition. It can  be well treated by someone well knowledged with this condition.

Morphea: Thee is no cure for either mophea or scleroderma.  Treatments are not very good either.

Rare disease: whose origins can relate to diabetes, infection, or rheumatic disease.  Clearly you have a physician treating you for psoriatic arthritis, are on several meds and have some sensitivity to medications, so you need to be very careful.  Ask the physician who is already treating you/or who made the diagnosis, how to find the right physician.  In Seattle, there might be a referral service from Swedish.

i noticed i have a few splinter hemorrhages on each thumb near the tip. i do worry about this being a sign of cancer or other systemic issue ( lupus , sclarodoma, etc). i am a 42 year old male with health anxiety. any insight is appreciated?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. If you do not have any other symptoms, you may watch and wait. If you get fever, see a doctor. The "splinter" hemorrhage may from minor trauma.

Usually not: Angiomyolipomas of the kidney suspected on ultrasound can  be quickly assessed with non contrast dedicated renal ct. If gross fat is seen on ct then it is a benign angiomyolipoma and you are done with the evaluation.

Neurofibromatosis: This is a pair of genetic diseases that make a person much more vulnerable to a variety of different tumors, most famously neurofibromas, but also acoustic neuromas / schwannomas, pheochromocytomas, and a variety of others depending on the allele and locus.

MRI review: There are many possible causes of a very small hyperintense focus on an MRI, but they are unlikely to be the source of your blurred vision. Review of the image is needed to describe what that finding could represent.

On a CT scan?: The differential diagnosis for hypodense lesions on a ct scan of the liver is quite expensive. This would include everything from benign lesions such as hemangioma, liver cyst and benign tumors to liver cancer and metastasis.

solitary thyroid hypoechoic nodule, peripheral thin calcification, peripheral vascularization, 7-6-7 mm; tsh: 0.465; tg: 48.7. can it be cancerous?

Accepted Answer

Most likely not: This is most likely a benign adenoma; however, due to vascularity it may need to be biopsies/excised.  Your nodule is right at the borderline for biopsy recommendation.  Some endocrinologists would also recommend waiting six months and repeating ultrasound then to make sure there is no change in size of the nodule.
