Possibly: If by "repaired" you mean pain alleviated and the condition reversed.  Sciatica is a layman's term for pain in the leg.   Is is often caused by irritation of a spinal nerve (e.g. Due to herniated disc).  There is a procedure to relieve the pain and let the disc heal.  It is a "cold" radio frequency procedure on the nerve root called pulsed rf.  I have written about it-look up articles-see web.

Depends on cause: Sciatica is an irritation of the sciatic nerve, formed from the outflow of low lumbar and sacral nerves that join in the middle buttocks to form the sciatic N. Therefore causes can involve pressure Over the N itself or irritation of any of its contributing Ns. Most often this is from L4 or L5 outflow. The piriformis muscle overlies the sciatic and can also spasm, causing symptoms. Treat the cause.

Give it a little tim: Sciatica, defined as pain radiating down your leg to the foot, is usually caused by a irritated nerve in your lower spine. It is not uncommon for symptoms to occur and later resolve. Anti-inflammatories and stretching can often help. If your symptoms are severe, have been going on for 6 weeks or more, or associated with weakness, you should see your physician for evaluation.

Depends on the cause: Pressure on the nerves can occur for a variety of reasons.  If it is herniated discs pressing on nerves going down your leg, you can develop pain, tingling and even weakness.   It is best to relieve that pressure, as soon as possible.  This will decrease your pain and allow the nerves to return to normal and weakness to improve.
