burned a small patch of skin on my forehead 3 weeks ago and the scab fell off leaving pink skin. can i use collagenase santyl ointment on this fresh skin to help it fade quicker? or is this ointment not indicated for this purpose?

Let it be: Let the lesion heal on its own. Applying ointment may not help and may interfere with healing.
Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.

Usually: the usual is that the skin is light and then the skin starts to turn darker.  If it has bruised significantly and it is now brown it is harder for the brown tint to go away though it will fade  Give it some time and if not see a provider for alternative therapies to correct it

Pinched pimple: Will go away. How long? I would recall the last time you did this and how long it took. Should be about the same. Everyone is different.

I would not do it again unless you want to do another healing test on yourself.

Weeks to months: Long time. Weeks to months. Longer if you are younger. Use sun block on those sites to prevent pigment changes due to sun damage.

Scar discolor: scars take a while to become less visible.  As long as it's not infected keep the area clean, have her avoid picking at it.  If your daughter is in good health it will heal.
