You eat or drink at "one go" to the point you stretch the stomach walls can trigger such a response. Once it has time to process/push the material further down the digestive tract it should resolve.

Some people react with nausea and or pain with this as there are temperature sensitive receptors in the lining of stomach/nerves.  Try lukewarm water, afterall you wouldn't step into a cold shower in the morning would you?  Hope this helps.

Would not: I would try to determine why the baby has a tummy ache before i would give him anything. It could be the formula, the type of water you are using, how fast the milk comes out from the nipple. If you are nursing , is it something you ate. Many times if you correct the offending agent, the problem goes away.

Therefore if you are still vomiting and dizzy you should see a doctor right away. If your symptoms have resolved completely then you like had a stomach flu that has passed.
