i have blepharitis and ocular rosacea. today i noticed clear blister about the size of a pin head where lower lid meets eye. it burst but can see it.

Meibomian gland: dysfunction from blepharitis can cause meibomian gland cysts to occur. Good lid hygiene with diligent lid scrubs found over the counter is a good start. Your ophthalmologist can treat you with medication or procedures to alleviate the symptoms and sometimes eliminate the cause.

papulopustular rosacea well controlled by soolantra. now have eye symptoms  (see above) in both eyes.  is this ocular rosacea or age related dy eyes?  what is the defining difference? also treated for two bacterial infections  in last three months.

Possibly 1 or both: rosacea can do this, but so can dry eye syndrome. Would suggest see an ophthalmologist to test for dry eye and sjogrens. Might treat with low dose doxy and use various types of eye drops as well.

Lids v. face: Blepharitis is a dandruff like inflammation of the eyelids causing redness, itching, crusting and sometimes loss of lashes.  Rosacea is condition of unknown origin causing redness and crusting of the mid-face and sometimes involving the eyelids.  Treatment overlaps between these two conditions and both are treatable.  Rosacea can cause permanent skin changes if not dealt with.

Ocular rosea: Roscea can be an autoimmune disorder and as such can have elevated  immune markers .Alternatively could be lupus. Did they check other markers like dsDNA Sm antibody?  F/u /w dermatology

See below: Otc antihistamines are helpful for many people with seasonal allergies.  If you take multiple medications, a pharmacist can help you find an otc product that will not interact with your other medications. If you have no other symptoms of seasonal allergies (runny nose, sneezing, etc) or this is the first time you have had red, sore eyes... You should see your physician.

Rosacea: Any doctor can but the best would be a skin specialist like a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon. There are many treatments for rosecea and these specialists are involved in doing all of them

Rosacea: How r u treating the rosacea? Topical Metrogel & other meds work well to control symptoms. Then any good moisturizer should work, such as aloe vera, olay products w/ sunscreen (since sun exposure can worsen rosacea). See pcp or dermatologist.
