Don't know: It depends on the characteristics of your pain - onset, duration, location, radiation, aggravating and alleviating factors, and severity to name a few. Gallbladders can also cause pain without stones. Ask your doctor if a CCK-HIDA scan would be appropriate. I'm not saying that's what you need, just trying to give potentially helpful info.

No: Things are not done exactly the same throughout the world.  For instance there are medications that have been approved for use in other countries that have  not been given fda approval in the us. Or herbal medications fall under the federal institute for risk assessment  jurisdiction in germany but they don't fall under the fda in the us.

can you have both ist and pots syndrome together was diagnosed with ist but wanted pots ruled out first. then was diagnosed with pots! not sure now?

Dysautonmia: Ist ;pots are both poorly understood conditions - that may indeed overlap . Pure ist - patients are continuously tachycardic - or a sig higher baseline pulse.With simple exertion the heart rate can soar, very challenging to treat - bblockers etc have only modest efficacy . Ablation is sometimes required.  Pots is likely a disorder of vascular resistance - measures to increase fluid intake can help.

Other reasons: Can be pericarditis, or inflammation of the sac around the heart... Could be pleurisy, or inflammation of the lining of the chest cavities.  Could be musculoskeletal, including pain related to the cartilage connecting the ribs to the sternum (costochondritis) e.g. From excessive coughing.  Could be a tumor.  Variety of reasons that could be narrowed down based on characteristics of the pain.

what needs to be ruled out when making a diagnosis of lyme disease?

History: The dx of Lyme disease needs to first raise the suspicion ( the characteristic rash or symptoms are present and whether the person had been in area infested by the tick carrying the virus).  Blood tests will then be required to confirm the suspicion. There are many other condition to consider but too numerous to be included in this conversation.

No: Mild cases of pid might not have any pain associated with the exam. Cultures might help as well as other tests to determine if pid is present.

Adrenal issue: Do you have lightheadedness when you get up?  How many hours do you sleep?  Do you sleep flat or on a 45 degree angle watching TV.  Are you drinking enough water?  Do you consume enough fruits?  Do you have intake of Sea salt?  Do you eat enough greens to get Vitamin B?  These are all factors that your adrenals need.  If you do not follow the regimen for your adrenal concerns, you will be lighhead

Many causes: There are numerous possible causes for chronic problems with what is considered to be working memory deficits. These can include psychiatric illnesses other than ADHD such as anxiety and depressive disorders. A long history of poor organizational skills can also come from a learned behavior that you need to correct by actively working in your organizational skills.

i have siezures. but the tests come back normal. then i'm refused to be seen because they're ruled nonepileptic. why? i still need help w/ them!

Seizures: Seizures might be a presentation of Epilepsy, or it might be caused by other problems, like metabolic or structural issues of the body; mental stress as a cause of seizure might be another one to think about
Having normal testing is reassuring, and I would like to suggest to see your doctor to assess for the possibility of mental stress and get it sorted

Recurrent molluscum: Probably you didn't catch it again; more likely your previous infection has recurred. It takes the immune system several months to become fully effective against the molluscum contagiosum virus, and new lesions can reappear for quite a long time. Eventually it will stop, however. In the meantime, see a doctor, preferably a dermatologist, for treatment advice.
