Runny nose: You could try a saline nasal spray. If the runny nose appears to be of allergic cause, you could also give the age appropriate dose of Benadryl (diphenhydramine) provided your child is >2 years old.

Likely yes: If there is congestion and clear drainage likely allergy.  However, if there has been any head trauma or any other symptoms i would get the child checked.  I have parents use vaporizers during allergy seasons.

Runny nose and cough: Runny nose can cause your child to cough, and cough can makes your child to vomit. When it lasts for 2 weeks, you should bring your child to see a physician. A viral infection should not last that long. If he/she gets bacterial infections, he/she usually looks sick, has colored phlegm and would need antibiotics. A 2 years old can develop allergies to the environment and presents similar way.

Needs exam of chest+: Runny nose and congestion for 2 weeks THEN followed by high fever is a good story for a lung infection.  There are other causes of fever which should be evaluated as well.  Recommend you see a physician in-person today for evaluation!

See your doctor: for evaluation and possible need for Rx medications as antibiotics, meanwhile, start/continue salt water gargles, drink more fluids, fever reducing medicines, and rest, good luck

Needs exam: This could be from more than one process. A middle ear infection could come up quickly, create enough pressure behind the ear drum that it burst ( relief of pain after). It could be blood from a scratch in the canal if you  put anything in it. I would have it looked at.

R/O SINUSITIS :  Yes you should rest irrigate sinuses with saline/take a nasal spray like Nasonex/FLONASE. You need an exam and evaluation for sinusitis. Potentially a C. A 2-3week course of antibiotics ie bactrim/augmentin /cipro.  Also avoid abrupt changes in pressure. Ie flying/scuba/swimming if diving or snorkeling . These activities may increase risk of worsening sinusitis and potentially rupturing ear drum.

No: You may wish to consult a doctor to be tested for allergy.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Possible: It is possible to have runny nose for nearly 2 wks after a cold but if the problem persists much longer than that, one needs to rule out a sinus infection .
