what does a tick bite look like after 2-3 weeks? i have a round spot on my ankle that is pink and there is dry skin in a circle around the area.

Possible : It does sound like a possible tick bite.  You could possibly take a picture and submit with your question, or perhaps a better idea would be to let your primary care doctor take a look at it.

a few months ago, i had a clear full body exam by my dermatologist.  i now have a small pink round spot on my leg. can a skin cancer appear suddenly?

Yes, it can: Several months is enough time for a skin cancer to develop. That being said, there are also benign pink spots on the skin that can develop in a few months or even shorter. Please have it checked out by your dermatologist. That way, if it's benign, you will rest easy, and if it's not benign, it can be dealt with earlier rather than later.

The practice of: putting babies to sleep on their backs has contributed to more "flat heads."  Some have treated this with a helmut, usually at 4-12 months of age, though it is not clear this is more effective than trying to avoid lying on back during the day.As the child and his skull grows, the flattening will improve. It may not be perfectly symmetrical, but is not a cosmetic/social/brain development problem

Tines capitis: This a fungus; use tea tree oil or medicated shampoo to keep from spreading, but needs an oral medication to most effectively treat
