Ulnar nerve: The little and ring finger are innervated  by the ulnar nerve. Tingling can be caused by compression in the wrist elbow or neck. You need to be seen by a hand surgeon to determine the cause of your symptoms.

Could be : Cubital tunnel syndrome which involves pinching of ulnar nerve at elbow.  This may be very temporary based on your description, but if persistent, see your doc. Most of these problems involve bumping or sleeping on "funny bone", and are rapidly reversible.

A hand surgeon can evaluate you for this and discuss treatment options like a brace,physical therapy,corticosteroid injection or surgery. A neurologist can perform a test(EMG) to document the diagnosis if needed.
