I doubt it: Usually lymph nodes don't swell in response to fungal infections. I would have it looked at as that could be caused by a bunch of different thing from simple things like shaving to horrible things like cancer.

in the last few days i noticed the following symptoms:

1. tenderness in my right groin, lymph node is slightly inflamed 
2. tenderness extends into the inside of my right tight, is sore and warm to the touch ?

Doctor can evaluate: Groin lumps (either male or female) can be caused by infected lymph nodes, enlarged non-infected lymph nodes, skin cysts, abscesses in the skin, etc... A bigger lump might even be a hernia. One's primary care doctor can evaluate to see what it might be, and offer advice on treatment or testing.

They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react.  They shrink when all is well.

Any pelvic issues?
Lymphadenopathy can reflect inflammation, local skin infection, or tumors, or lymphatic disease.
May need biopsy if persistent or more!

Have it looked at...: Details are needed in your case in order to determine why this is happening- was it tender? Matted? Had. Associated symptoms? It's more appropriate if this is done in person with your primary care doctor.
