Get examined: It is not uncommon for breast sizes to be unequal, however, the lumpy nodularity above the areola you describe needs a  GYN MD examination  to assure you  as to whether that is normal or not.

17 female. both breasts has ridge/thickening above areola. its much more prominent in right breast which is larger than left. should i be concerned?

Right breast pain: Yes, pain in one breast around period time can be normal, but more often the hormonal congestive changes involve both breasts. Absence of a lump is reassuring but if you still have concerns or if the same breast continues to be painful monthly, have a breast examination by your physician, gynecologist or a breast surgeon.

is it normal for the right breast to be larger than the left? i think like have always been like that. i read left is usually bigger, but im my case my right is larger and hangs down lower. is this normal?

: Our bodies are not 100% symmetrical. There can be slight variations between the right and left sides which is perfectly normal.

Not necessarily: Since this just happened over the last few weeks and your breast was not always a little bigger on the one side, there may be some underlying cause that needs to be assessed.  Have a dr. Do a thorough breast exam on you with possible testing such as a diagnostic mammogram.  Best wishes.

No, Normal: One breast is always larger than the other.  You and even differ by a cup size.  It is okay as long as one is not shrinking or retracting and becoming hard.  If so then get a mammogram.

? plastic surgery: As this stage , it is unlikely to even out. May consult with a breast reconstruction surgeon and go from there

Breast: If you are in your 30s and this is happening as it would seem to be based on your profile, then this is something to be concerned about. I would start with a good examination by skilled doctor. Then i would have either a mammogram or a ultrasound.
