so i woke in the middle of the night with severe right arm pain with nausea it lasted about 25 minutes later on about 6 hours later then pain came back for about 2 hours now again currently it back could i possibly be having a heart attack?

: Please see your physician. These symptoms may indicate a cardiac condition, and the cause of the pain should be determined. Watch for dizziness,shortness of breath and avoid meals two hours or less primary prior to bedtime.

Yes: Unlikely a heart attack. But was caused by something. Don't let it return. Go to a Doctor, and let them figure out what it was and how to prevent it from reoccurring or getting worse.

Short answer: Would be no. The most common cause for these type of symptoms remains musculoskeletal, including pain that may originate in the spine, cervical or thoracic. Due to life threatening conditions that may overlap, workup is always recommended.

Chest pain: Based on your description it does not sound like you had a heart attack. Lung and musculoskeletal pathology remain possible leads with a possible background anxiety disorder exacerbating symptoms.

See below: Classically, it's pressure, numbness, or heaviness.  However, people have described other feelings like sharpness, aches, or no pain at all except in the chest. Basically, if you feel anything abnormal plus suddenly weak, short of breath, headache, pain, etc., see a doctor.

It can...: Left arm pain, especially in association with chest pain, can mean a heart attack. This is especially so if you also have shortness of breath, nausea, sweating, and dizziness. 

But there are lots of causes of left arm pain. If it persists, you should see your doctor. Feel better!
