Better than smoking: Nicotine patches used properly can be a safe and effective way to quit smoking. As far as we know, the most dangerous part of a cigarette when it comes to heart attack and cancer risk is the tar and smoke itself. While nicotine is a highly addictive substance and may have some effects on blood pressure and heart rate, nicotine in the form of a patch on the way to quitting is safe.

Risk 4 mom vs. fetus: There would be no additional risk to the mother, but Remeron (mirtazapine) is pregnancy category c (for fetal risk). Yes: Not all STIs are prevented by condoms, even it one remains intact, HPV being one example and Herpes the other common one. It would be prudent to see your doctor. If your sex partner is amenable to getting tested, it would be useful.

Use no oils at all: No oil of any kind should be used in the genital area. If you need a sexual lubricant. a water-based product is much better. None cn cause yeast infection, however.

i have le fraumeni syndrome which means at a high rick for cancer. should i wait to do biopsy on t4 thyroid nodule. and recheck in 6 months. blood test normal. cea is at 24. feels like something is in throat when swallow, horse a lot, sore throat?

: The threshold for biopsy a TR4 nodule is size of 15 mm or bigger. Thyroid cancer is not among the core cancers in patient with Li-Fraumeni syndrome so if your thyroid nodule size is less than 15 mm you can wait as advised by your doctor.

There is a risk in those with very curly hair that close shaving may cause the hair to grow into the skin causing focal pustules and diffuse acne.
