Diet pills: I think you will find a tough time finding a review of diet pills with any usable information. The only thing you might find are a list of pills that have been known to cause serious side effects. As a physician, i would never recommend any diet pill to any patient, friend, or relative. I would avoid them altogether if i were you. Just look at what happened to people that took fen-phen.

Slimquick: The least important risk is that it may not work. The worst risks come from the fact that it is a diet pill like all the rest that are unregulated by the fda and have not gone through any clinical trials. So you have no idea what the long term effects are. The bottom line is that there are no healthy drugs that burn fat, speed up metabolism, and reduce hunger. I wouldn't recommend it.

I suggest: That you look it up on line where there is an excellent review of weight losing stuff including slmquick. It is very expensive and may not work at all. There is no substitute for self discipline. Stop all forms of sugar and sweeteners.

Probably not: According to their advertising, this product is designed specifically for women. It contains many supplements such as green tea extract, caffeine, Hoodia, soy, ginseng.  None of these substances reliably causes weight loss. It is probably safe enough, &amp; may help suppress your appetite a bit, but no more effective than counting calories on your own &amp; making sure you expend more than you take in:)

Can you wait?: Although most of the listed ingredients should be safe for your baby, the extra caffeine, artificial sweeteners and food dyes are concerning (these are not things an infant should be exposed to).  Initiating a regular exercise program in conjunction with a reduced fat and sugar diet would be much healthier for you and your baby.

Also take only brand name replacement, not generic - unreliable.

Weight loss: There is some good information on green coffee but slim quick sounds like a calorie restricting food.Calorie restriction in the long term is not successful .Focus on low glycemic index foods and drink plenty of water.

Stay nourished: As long as you are breast feeding it is probably wise not to go on an extreme diet.  You need to nourish yourself and your baby.

Yes, but...: You need to be careful about using "quick fix" products when it comes to weight loss.  To lose the weight and keep it off, you need to take in less calories than you expend. There is only 2 ways to do this. You take in less calories or you increase your calorie use through exercise/being more physically active. If you drink 5 slimquicks a day, you are not going to lose weight. Diet/exercise!
