: Many conditions which cause kidney stones can cause this, e.g.- high uric acid. Drink plenty of water and get checked by a Urologist

: You do not have urine retention by those results. Old people usually have higher post void residual volume but less than 50 cc is still considered normal. Take care.

noticed a powdery white residue in my 2yo boys potty when the urine has been left and dried out. almost gritty/like salt if i wipe with my finger. he's otherwise healthy and doesn't complain of any pain. is this normal to happen when urine dries?

Yes: Urine contains waste products that your body removes from the blood stream. This includes things that can crystallize once the water is evaporated. It can be irritating to the skin, so should be removed ASAP. Urine left on the skin for extended periods of time can cause a rash, which can then be infected by fungus or bacteria.

Sorry this happened: If this were possible, people would lick money on the chance of getting high. It is more likely that an enemy put some of the stuff in your food / drink. This happens. You should probably get legal help now. Labs do make mistakes, too.

PVR: A residual urine of 160cc after voiding is not alarming in a hospitalized patient.  Agree that it might be a little premature to call in the urologist, especially since your attending physician is monitoring with bladder scan.

Risk of infection: Post-voiding residual urine predisposes one to urinary infection and it is important to ascertain the cause for a proper treatment. A urologist is an appropriate specialist for the disorder.

Contamination: I suspect you’re talking about urine epithelial cells which are skin cell contaminants in a urine  sample and why a clean wipe of the urethra is used before giving a urine sample.

Not sure: Urine normaly straw colored  may seem dark to you if so pick up water intake.
