Smaller blood vessels are noted here, and unless you have had cerebrovascular events, it is unlikely that these represent strokes.

When there is a malfunction of the microvasculature either because of spasm or buildup because of cholesterol, smoking, diabetes etc.. The organ with the bloodvessels ( ex. Heart) will malfunction.
