Air into middle ear: When you lift weights. Your abdominal muscles tighten the pressure in the back of your nose increases, driving air into the middle ear via the eustachian tube.  This is a normal physiological phenomenon.  This is the best explanation i can give you.  However, if the force of the air is great enough when you lift too much weight,  theoretically, you could perforate your ear drum.  Be careful.

Compress/ antibioti: pimples form from pus collecting around a hair follicle.  Often  it can be treated with warm compressses which will cause it to come to a head and burst on it's own.  Apply to the earlobe 3-4 times a day for 25 minutes at at time. Sometimes an antibiotic is needed and rarely it will need to be excised by a physician.
