Sometimes it can be the the duct of minor salivary gland that got transected/cut, and  in that case, you need the minor gland removed.  1) don't pop anything in your mouth with a needle. may create a worse problem 2) go to your dentist when its swollen and show them...

: No. It's very unlikely a chancre could form in the week following the usual single dose of post-exposure prophylaxis with doxycycline (doxy-PEP) recommended for STI prevention in MSM (200 mg). Even without doxycycline, chancres don't form sooner than 10-12 days after exposure. Your lip cut is not a chancre.
