: First of all, this is not the platform in which prescriptions can be refilled.  The person who originally prescribed the medication to you is the person whom you should ask.  Most likely, that person, who normally is a Physician, might want to have you come in for an appointment, and discuss how you are doing on the medication.

A doctor located in the state where the patient is, may send prescriptions to a pharmacy but not for narcotics nor for certain other medications. Sometimes prescriptions aren't given because an in-person exam is needed. Fees are for the private consultations (advice) regardless of prescriptions.

They refill if appropriate.

I wont personally: I usually do not refill such prescriptions for fear of enabling addiction. There are too many cases of prescription drug abuse.
