The best treatment: Your best bet for intestinal stricture due to ibd is surgical resection. In patients who've had multiple surgeries/resections for ibd, stricturoplasty , where the inflammatory stricture is opened but not resected, may be an option.Still, surgical intervention will be necessary. i have gastropathy secondary to bile fluid & mild melanosis coli with looping of sigmoid colon. my value bumps bile into stomach not bowel. treatment?

It is possible: I do not know where your pain is located or how frequent it is. There can be aching discomforts from healing muscles that may be more noticeable when you increase your activities such as walking or exercises. Also sometimes there can be internal gas pains that may come and go as the intestines heal after surgery. Check with your surgeon.

Maybe thickened: The wall of the bottom part of your colon might be a little thick but it isn't certain. What that means is there may be evidence of inflamed tissue when the wall of the colon is measured but a normal colon is sometimes the same thickness. Most likely further tests will be needed, such as a colonoscopy. That will be a decision made by you doctor based on the clinical situation.

No, ultrasound: is not very sensitive for detecting non-inflammed diverticula.

Colon biopsy: Biopsy does not show mucus.
They did not biopsy what they saw or it was not there when biopsied. Discuss with your GI Dr.

No difference: None of these different activities would make a difference since there is only one way for waste to be eliminated...

: The sigmoid colon is a storage area at the end of the digestive tract. Its only function is water extraction and storage until an emptying event. Ability to empty effectively depends on contracting ring shaped muscle fibers in its walls assisted by the diaphragm and external belly muscles.  More effective emptying requires emptying more often so the colon muscles don't get overstretched.
