: If the hymen is perforated bright red bleeding may occur after first time intercourse.  Dark red blood with clots &amp; cramping suggests that the bleeding is from the uterus and I don't think intercourse caused it. I'd consider it to be a period. A gynecologist can advise you best if you still have concerns.

Nothing necessarily : Anything as you can have irregular bleeding when you take emergency contraception. If it persists then I would review this with your doctor.

Not unusual: The morning after pill is usually progesterone.  This will cause some irregularity in your cycle.  If you do not start your cycle within a week or two, do a pregnancy test or see a Provider.

Can't say.: Brown coloration is usually due to old blood being cleaned from the uterus. Potential Side effects w emergency contraception include menstrual flow changes (spotting, bleeding, early or late period). Take pregnancy test &amp; notify Dr if your period is 7 or &gt; days late.
